Notes : Stored on the 5th February 2004 at Motherwell TMD, 08402 was reinstated back to traffic soon after, on the 24th March. On the 26th May though and transferring to the WSXX pool, it was once again back in store.

After a purge by EWS to sell a number of stored shunters, Stockton based TJ Thomson's, purchased Motherwell's 08402 sometime around the end of December 2008.

On the 4th March 2009, it left Motherwell, being deposited at Stockton later in the day. Sometime around the 27th / 28th April, 08402 was rumoured to scrapped at Thomson's. This was not the case though, as towards the end of October, 08402 was sighted, still intact, at the company's scrapyard.
