Transferred to the Colne Valley Railway from Allerton in March 2007 for a possible return to mainline status.

Leaving Castle Hedingham by road, 08460 left the Colne Valley Railway on the 4th November 2009, en-route to Felixstowe. Arriving at the south freightliner terminal shortly after, the 08 has been hired out to the Port of Felixstowe Company, to cover for the out of use 01531.
