Popped over to the Chasewater Railway this afternoon. 08585 has been there for the last few days, being run in for F / Liner after its release from the LH Group. Tomorrow, it will be transported ( i think ) down to Felixstowe.

08691 is currently at the LH Group, awaiting transfer down to Chasewater to be run in. That's due tomorrow, on the transport that's taking 585 away.

I'm not sure though, if the private railway has gained a contract from F / Liner or the LH Group for running in the shunters after repairs.

**Update**

08691 has, in the last week or so, left the LH Group and transported by road to Southampton Maritime.

Latterly at Tilbury FLT, 08585 was transported by road today to Southampton Maritime, possibly to cover for 08077.

Maritime have 624,691,585 & 575 . The c & w use one , and one is for shunting about , the rest are usually spare or on the M3/M40/M42/A38 !

Ready to swop with 08785 at Trafford Park then ?
08691 was on shed on saturday at Maritime, shunting some FLT flats through the depot doors. Didn't sound unwell, so a possible swap is likely, with 785 heading for the LH Group.

Reported on Anglia gen that 08691 has failed and that a replacement may arrive tomorrow. Also suggested it may not be a FL example?

Update - apparently arrived tonight, in EWS livery  Confused  Presume a Hunslet or Traditional Traction machine?
