In more years than I can remember I've only ever had one Toton 08 that wasn't much cop and that was just the compressors not creating enough air.... leave our jocko's alone !

I didn't even know there was one there
Perhaps this could be the missing 08445. I would bet that ownership has changed hands with this one, and it now belongs to RMS. Strongly possible, given that it was at Dee Marsh / Shotton.
In fact, i'll put money on it. Maybe the location of its last sighting was slightly dodgy, and given that there hasn't been a single mention of it on here, WNXX and all the gen groups, does make me wonder that it has been tucked away somewhere.
With it having an overhaul, i would say that it could've been a spares donor for 08756 and 08936 up there - or down there, which ever part of the country you guys all come from
I've just had another thought about the new arrival Gaz. To put a spanner in the works regarding 08445, it could possibily be one of the two Potter Group 08's.
Rail movements have either ceased or close to it at Knowsley, so they would be no need for two shunters to be present anymore. And given that they are both owned by RMS, and you said it was geting a repaint, it does make you wonder whether it could be one of these.
