According to the WNXX website, 08757 is due to leave Acton shortly, after it was placed on decision. It has been out of use for a while now.

Has left Acton by road, deposited at Toton on the 30th August. A move to the compound now looks likely.

Noted today inside at Toton, it is being fitted with Remote Control gear. Lights now fitted and wiring being connected up. Still in RES livery.

09009 was inside as well being worked on looks like.

Barry Boys rule........they did until Barry Evans took stock of the situation and told his staff to remove all sheep on 37's when they came into CF for repairs. (circa 1983)?  Laughing

"........ Could this be replacing one of the Tidal 08's ......... "
.
Well 08854 'Bradshaw' seems to have been forgotten
.
08782 is still idle at Celsa, Tremorfa (not Tidal as reported elsewhere) apparently stored, awaiting attention.
.
08466 'Brillo' and 08752 'Lenny' I've not seen in action for a while
.
08951 is in daily use, and was playing with the former BRY barrier wagon this afternoon at Tremorfa.
.
There is scope for an additional pilot at Tidal
.
I was told recently that traffic to/from the two Celsa plants Tremorfa & Castle in the first three months of 2009 was up on the same period last year.
.
Siding space is restricted a bit at Tidal, and today the Shipley or Stockton  loaded scrap wagons (KEA) were left at Pengam. They cannot be collected by a Tidal pilot as most of the drivers are not passed to leave Tidal.

Informative as always Mr R  Wink

So 08757 could well be heading into Wales shortly then.
