Current Livery        : RES
Pool Code              : WNTR

                                Fitted with remote control.

Whilst residing at Bescot, it was put into store on the 20th March 2004. With 08577 arriving at Bescot from Daventry, 08757 was taken away by road on the 22nd April to the IRFT, replacing the former pilot. On the 25th, the RES liveried 08 was reinstated to traffic and the WSWM pool. Due to a further setback, it was sent back to Bescot for repairs, arriving in the West Midlands by road on the 18th May. With assessment completed, it was put back into store on the 23rd May, transferring to the WNTR pool. The 8th June however, it was back on the road again, being deposited at Swindon. Three days later ( 11th ), it was reinstated to traffic and WSMR. Due to 08561's arrival at Swindon though, 08757 was loaded and removed on the 2nd July, being deposited at Whatley Quarry shortly after.

After being out of use in the yard at Acton, it was placed on decision on the 16th August 2008. By the 30th, 08757 was taken away from West London by road and deposited at Toton, from where it was put into store on the 7th September.

On the 10th March 2009, it transferred pools, swopping from WNTS to WNTR. Sometime during the latter part of April, 08757 was fitted with remote control equipment at Toton, the parts being donated from Margam's 08854.

Update Leaving Toton mid morning of the 15th December, en-route to Somerset and following an overnight stop-over, 08757 was unloaded at Westbury the next morning. Replacing the defective and out of use 08706, the RES liveried shunter is expected to be officially released into traffic shortly.
