Notes   : Whilst spending a short while out of use at Wembley, 08844 was put into store on the 27th May 2004 ( WNTR. )

During a ceremony at Acton Yard, 08844 was named Chris Wren 1955-2002 on the 28th June 2003. Unveiled by his mother, Chris was a member of EWS staff, who sadly died in an accident in 2002.

Can sometimes be found operating in the Engineers Yard at Bescot, although, from time to time, it swops places with 08907 in the North Yard.

Update: Due to 08844 needing engine repairs at Bescot TMD, it has been stored WNTS on the 29th June 2009.
