Status : Preserved ( owner - Moveright International ) Current Livery : BR green ( carries its pre-tops number D4157 ) Notes : Fitted with screw couplings.
Whilst residing at Motherwell, on the 5th February 2004, it was put into store. May 26th saw 08927 reinstated to traffic, transferring to the WSSC pool. Due to faults though, it was back in store on the 17th June, being moved into WNTR. Repairs all completed, the 08 was back in active use on the 2nd July, moving to its previous WSSC pool.
Withdrawn June 2005 at Motherwell TMD.
Former Motherwell resident 08927, left Scotland on the 27th March 2007 and was deposited at the Gloucestershire / Warwickshire Railway a day later and it's status was officially classed as preserved. On the 20th September 2007, it made a brief trip to Wembley T&RSMD for tyre turning. After completion, it was returned to Toddington on the G/WR, where it can currently be found.
During its restoration, 08927 was outshopped in the BR green colours, sporting its pre-tops number D4157.
