One shunter move that hasn't been mentioned, is that of 08503. That left Heanor's sometime around December, and was taken to Goodmans Yard, obviously by road.

With the arrival of 08691 from Southampton, 08873 left Felixstowe on the 7th January by road, Trafford Park being the most likely destination.

With the recent purchase of shunters to the scrap man, the first of many moves happened yesterday, the 8th January. Both from the turntable area at Old Oak Common, 08694 and 08919 left by road, en-route to Rotherham.

Not had confirmation on this, but i think 08775 is the next to be moved. My source has told me, that it has been shifted from the rear of Bescot depot, awaiting to be loaded on to road transport. It may have already been loaded, waiting to depart on monday morning though.

It had gone Thursday at some point , could see the lorry tyre marks !
On Wednesday it must have been in & out of the shed ? also 08538 has moved ? Not noted inside ? Will look Friday night.

It looks very much likely that 08775 was removed on monday, the 15th, because it is now awaiting the cutters torch at Booth's.

Not sure of the date, but 08567 is now at Didcot, coming south from Hinksey Yard.

At the moment, i don't know what's happened to 08676, the previous pilot at Didcot.

It looks very much likely that 08775 was removed on monday, the 12th, because it is now awaiting the cutters torch at Booth's.

Was at BS on Tuesday , in the shed Wednesday , back out Thursday morning & gone Thursday night.

I've asked somebody on another forum about the date. He lives in that neck of the woods, and has contact with an EWS employee, so hopefully, i can get an exact date. It does look likely, that it would be sometime on friday, if it was there thursday night.

I'm thinking no, Phil. With the arrival of 08873 and 785 ready for overhaul / repairs, i would imagine it is at the LH Group by now, although i haven't got any confimation on this yet.

Just got confirmation by Mr Goodman himself, that it was the 2nd December she arrived.

Also, just to bring it to your attention. 08495 still carries its Noel Kirton OBE nameplate.

I've got it narrowed down to Friday 16th or Saturday 17th.

Is at the LH Group now Phil. It's placed right by the gates, on the line nearest the fence.

I'm thinking there has been another move, cause 08907 was missing from the shed today at Bescot. It is usually parked in front of the old steam shed, but couldn't see it anywhere.

Parked at the Birmingham end of the TMD however, was one of the RES 08's from Daventry. I could only see the roof, as a little building was in the way  Evil or Very Mad

On the 22nd January, 08900 left Margam, en-route to Stockton and Thomson's. Currently, it is at Goodmans yard, awaiting forwarding north.

Another shunter ready for movement is 08715. It is still at Currock, getting prepared for road transport, also to Thomson's.
