Hi All
Popped into Carr loco today and in the line of shunters to be seen from the car park was one UID in EWS red, looked fairly fresh too. Can anyone help ID this one please? The line up from l-r was 08569/08953/09202/08994/08664/uid/09101/08941.
Can't help but interesting to see that 09101 has emerged from the shed-Martin _________________ Why do farmers put gates at the muddiest part of the field ?

08703 on the other hand, how sure are you for it to be at Doncaster?
I'm not sure, but either;
1. it was there and I hadn't read of it being moved elsewhere, or
2. it was elsewhere and someone said it was now off to Donny.
On thursday ( 13th ), it left Sheerness, but as of yet, i've had no confirmation of its whereabouts.
With Toton seemed to be taking over the shunter repairs, i'm guessing that it may have been unoaded there. Or, it could've been dropped of at Donny instead
My money is on 09001 as its got those high level pipe jobbies on the front and 09006 is still in its usual spot. Does anyone know if any of the DR 08s have these pipes?
There is a report today for Carr on another site which confirmed a sighting of 09001 at the Depot-I'm assuming this is still at the rear of the Depot with 09014-see attached.
The correspondent also said there was an EWS liveried shunter out front with no number on it and confirmed this looked as if it had a fresh coat of paint.
09107 was positioned in Row C of the shed behind 09101(which has emerged)and a photo I have seen previously suggests this shunter has had a repaint from DG as part of it's exam.
The shot shows no number on the loco so possibly this is the shunter being referred to.

Hi,
Called into Doncaster today and saw the following;
08 428 in Decoy Yard
On the depot were;
08 941,994,569
09 101 and I presume 09 107 in the red EWS livery with no numbers on?
08 925, 09 001 and 09 014 at the rear of the depot.
37 401 was obscuring the other shunters.
