Martin, I think you may have the wrong idenity for 01508.  The loco illustrated behind 01524 is a 4w DH whilst 01508 (which as far as I know is still at Eastleigh Works) is a R&H 0-6-0DH.

Unless the staff got a shifty on at Eastleigh Works, its overhaul hadn't been completed by the 2nd week of October. It was still in its primer aswell.

That would make sense, as i believe 01548 is based at Ludgershall.

Hi Martin,

Can you tell me where you saw 09024 from as I have been there 3/4 times recently (last Friday being the latest trip) and I have not managed to see this one.

Cheers

Roger

Roger-its behind 08765 and you can see it by walking down the narrow road that runs between the houses and the Depot fencing-you need to look when you get head on with the line of 37/56's,the shunters being to your right.

I've attached a photo I took in April of this year of 08765 with 09024 behind
