Many thanks for this Rob. It's cleared up a few things for me, mainly 08715, which took an absolute age to be transferred in from Currock.

Thomson's will be taking delivery of another 3 08's in the next month or so, these being:

402 from Motherwell
670 from Motherwell
933 from Hoo Junction

The two Motherwell shunters will be using the same transport, in the sense that once the first one will be dropped off, it'll head back to Scotland straight away, picking up the next one.

08933 however, will most probably spend some time at Goodman's Yard, before being forwarded north to Stockton.

I've cleared up your queries Rob, so i think you owe me a pint or 5  Wink  Laughing

The front 08 is 489, with 587 at the rear.
08489 came from Millerhill and 08587 from Margam, via Goodman's Yard.

Margam's 08900 in dep grey, also via a stop over at Godman's Yard.

08715 in from Carlisle Currock. Seems somewhat faded since the last time i seen this one.

I think it is 92530, although i'm not 100% sure. It was taken to Thomson's from ??, but reports suggest that it was scrapped. I'm not aware of anymore coaching stock going to Stockton, so it might well be that one.

Your round i think   Cool  Laughing

I'm going to have a drive up this week to see if I can get a shot of 08715 before it is cut up. How do I get to this bank you mention.

follow the main road round, past the entrance and the bank is on your right, little band of waste land.bit muddy and slippy.

Thanks for the directions.
I've found it on the map and entered the co-ordinates into the sat-nav, all I need now is a nice day.

Check it out on google.

From the bridge, Stockton railway station is 10 yards away behind me. Actually by foot, you can cut through housing estate and use the pedestrian underpass at Dovecot street [i.e bridge to bank]. Again see google.

[IF YOU WANT 489 OR 587 YOU CAN ONLY SEE THEM CLEARLY FROM THE BANK.
http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr358/crazylegsbob/P2070033.jpg

Go towards the houses and look back. Down the side of a building toward the big overhead crane. 47's only from the bank. Ind shunters majority from the bank.....

THE REST CAN ONLY BE SEEN FROM THE BRIDGE ie 587/ 489 and 08900 behind them  Shocked LOOK AT THE WHITE GAS TANK Shocked
http://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr358/crazylegsbob/P2070039.jpg

08715 just been dumped in the middle but thats bright orange. Should be able to spot it, wherever it is.
As for the three 350's [489 /587 and 900 behind], again from the bridge, look towards the big overhead crane and they are in amongst it. Just able to see the roofs, providing the piles are not too high.
regards crazylegs Wink

ie if you want to see 08900, dont go to bank cos u cant see it, it's behind the building. If you want to see 489/587 clearly, go to the bank.

THAT WAS HARD WORK BUT I HOPE U UNDERSTAND IT Shocked

WALKING TO BRIDGE/. Cool ..esp for aaron browning [view by train one or two if your lucky]
Shocked

From Stockton railway station leaving the approach road,
turn right to go under the railway bridge, crossing over the road.

Under the bridge turn left, left and left [brittania road]

You will see THE FOOTBRIDGE once you get to the end of this road.

BRIDGE TO BANK.........
Crossing over to the otherside, follow the main road round to the right. This is Hutchinson street.

Straight on and cut through the playpark onto Dixon street.
Keep going straight to the top, turn right on Dovecote street, under the pedestrian subway.

Keeping to your right, follow this road round, passed the entrance to the scrap yard and the bank/waste land is just after this
[you will see a gate in the railings leading up the hill ]

VERY MUDDY AND SLIPPY....TREAD CAREFULLY......
regards crazylegsbob Very Happy

Went up to Stockton this afternoon. 715 has been moved near to 900. Not in as good a place for a photo, but you can identify it by it's colour.
Found the Bank OK.
Got a bonus shot while driving up the A1. 37046 was in a lay-by, being moved from Tyne Yard to Booth's.
