08649 left Wolverton Works today, by road, to Wembley for tyre turning. The relevant sections have now been updated.

08629 has had a paint job - now in Railcare white, blue and red.

Looks kinda sporty though, don't you think. The more i look at it, the more i seem to like it. Certainly beats its previous livery anyway.

Read somewhere 08649 also now painted in this livery.

The way to tell them apart is 08649 has red con-rods and 08629 yellow.Went to Wolverton today and saw one from the Tesco car park through the fence.

Too far to see number but had red con-rods so assume 08649.

Can answer this one thanks to AndrewMK who confirmed what I had thought-picture attached shows the red buffer and con-rods so 08649.

08649 was used today to take the 319 out to the main line, as Martin says red buffer beams and rods on this one, yellow on 08629.
