Status : Industrial ( owner - RMS Locotec, on hire to PD Ports )
Current Livery : RMS Locotec blue with grey cabs ( carries the number 14 & H011 )
Notes : Fitted with screw couplings.
Withdrawn 1988 at Springs Branch TMD.
Latterly at Flixborough Wharf, 08423 left for RMS Locotec's Dewsbury site on the 3rd July 2003, where it underwent tyre turning.
A little later than probably thought, it returned back to Flixborough on the 18th February 2004.
On the 11th September 2006, the shunter suffered considerable fire damage at Flixborough Wharf, and was consequently dumped out of use. Moving away for repairs on the 10th October, it was moved to RMS Locotec again, where it recieved repairs and cosmetic attention.
With the shunter available for traffic, it left on the 23rd February 2007, being removed by road to Teesdock ( PD Ports ), based in Middlesbrough. Sometime around mid October though, the 08 was returned back to Flixborough Wharf.
With HNRC taking over shunting duties at Flixborough, around mid April 2008, 08423 was moved back to Teesdock, becoming its home yet again.
Currently, it still operates at PD Ports.
