Langushing at Willesden, on the 17th January 2004, 08454's future was in doubt, after it was put 'on decision'. On the 31st August, it was transferred to a new pool, ATXX, which was for locos on long term repairs. Pending further developments, it was still placed in store.
Lost its Silverlink livery in November 2006 after undergoing a E exam at Longsight T&RSMD. It currently resides at Wembley T&RSMD.
