Latterly working as one of the Wolverton pilots, the departmental grey liveried 08484, left for the LH Group on the 16th November 2003. Being deposited at the Barton under Needwood site, it was to undergo repairs during its stay.

On the 10th February 2004, 08484 left the LH Group by road after completion of its repairs, being returned back to Wolverton.

After being re-sold on by Alstom, the 08 was moved by road to Felixstowe, leaving Wolverton on the 25th April 2006. By the September though, it was involved in an accident at the South Terminal, and it was dumped out of use. In the October, the shunter was taken to Heanor's Haulage, Langley Mill, where it stayed for just over 3 months.

In February 2007, it was moved to the Nene Valley Railway, to where it was used as an exhibit in their March gala. Shortly after, 08484 was moved to Goodmans yard, where it recieved repairs and a repaint into the Port of Felixstowe blue livery. Upon completion, the freshly painted 08, was taken away by road on the 19th April. A few hours later, it was unloaded at St. Philips Marsh T&RSMD for tyre turning. Returning back to Felixstowe, the 08 left Bristol, sometime around the 4th May. During a ceremony at the historic dock basin, 08484 was named  Captain Nathaniel Darell  on the 2nd July. The naming marked the 340th anniversary of the defeat of a Dutch force, the last attempted invasion of the country by Captain Darell's men.

Currently, it pilots the south terminal at Felixstowe.
