At Doncaster Carr, on the 13th January 2004, 08514 was fitted with the TPWS equipment.
Sometime in late April / early May 2008, 08514 left Doncaster Decoy Yard and was transported up to Mossend Yard, replacing Doncaster bound and former pilot, 08500. On the 29th October, saw 08514 officially put into store at Mossend. The morning of the 27th November, 08514 left Scotland, en-route to Doncaster Carr, where it was unloaded the following day. Sometime around the 19th December, the EWS liveried 08 was reported to be suffering from engine faults and shifted cranks. Due to these problems, it was placed on decision, and by the 29th December, it was moved outside the TMD.
Currently, it is being used as a spares donor at Doncaster Carr.
