Notes : Withdrawn March 1999 at Eastleigh TMD.
Following a decision to put a number of locos up for sale by EWS, 08601 was purchased by HNRC, sometime around the middle of May 2004. At this point, the 08 was dumped at Wigan CRDC, its body just a shell.
On the 21st December 2005, 08601 was cut up by HNRC at Bryn Engineering, Wigan.
