For a forthcoming naming event at Laira, it recieved an overhaul and a repaint. During the ceremony on the 29th July 2008, 08645 was named 'Mike Baggott' at Laira T&RSMD. It was also outshopped in First blue following its overhaul.
Mike Baggott was a supervisor at Laira, who sadly passed away, 10 months after retiring in 2007. He had also clocked up 50 years of railway service.
Currently, 08645 acts as one of Laira's depot pilots.
