Notes : Whilst at Toton, 08698 was transferred to WNTR and storage on the 13th May 2004. Even though it was officially stored, it still continued to see use, acting as the depot pilot. The 23rd June saw 08698 loaded and removed from Toton by road, being deposited at Peterborough later on. To co-incide with this move, it was reinstated to traffic and WSEM, the following day.
Officially stored in September 2005 at Motherwell TMD, 08698 was moved south by road from Scotland to Thornaby TMD on the 11th December 2006, where it currently resides inside the TMD.
