Notes : On the 25th January 2004, 08786 arrived at Toton for repairs / attention. By the 20th February, and all repairs completed, it was taken south by road and deposited at Old Oak Common T&RSMD. On the 22nd April though, it was stored WNTR. Its stay in West London was short lived, as on the 13th May, it left in the afternoon for South Yorkshire, being deposited at Doncaster Wabtec late evening. Overhaul completed, 08786 was released on the 15th November, being tripped to Carr, from where it had a 10 day stay. On the 25th, it was loaded and removed by road, with Eastleigh its destination.
Whilst at Wembley yard, 08786 suffered a fire in the main generator, sometime around the early part of December. To provide cover, 08897 arrived at Wembley, which con-incided with 08786 being put into store sometime around the 18th December 2008.
On the 10th June 2009, 08786 was tripped the short distance from Wembley to Acton, from where it was loaded onto road transport. Mid afternoon, it left North London, en-route to Doncaster Carr for possible repairs.
