Latterly at the Churnet Valley Railway, it arrived at the LH Group sometime in the middle of December 2007, where it recieved an overhaul and repairs to collision damage.
After completion in late April 2008, 08823 left Barton under Needwood for Manchester, where it operated at the Kelloggs site at Trafford Park.
With it being out of use for some time, 08823 left Trafford Park by road on the 22nd May, where it was deposited at the LH Group shortly after.
