08834Drs owned 08834 has been sold and is meant to be going to Daventry but they cant take it by road because the low loader facility is now where the new lifting shed is being built at Crewe Gresty Bridge and they cant take it by rail because it has no paperwork to work on mainline and concrete bob i will send you some photos of 08834 on Gresty Bridge on Friday

Thanks Dave. I believe HNRC has aquired it from DRS, so i suppose it'll be on hire to DIRFT then.
I think i may be going barmy, cause i'm sure the news page on WNXX stated that it left Crewe on the 22nd. It isn't there now though

it was there friday cause i photographed it while there and my contact says it wasnt being moved yet because it cant be loaded onto low loader on site

UPDATE - The 08 was parked behind the 4 stored 47's at Basford Hall (to the right as you drive along the approach road) on Sunday morning the 24th.

I'm presuming it was on the monday ( 25th ), but 08834 has gone on hire to SERCO. Obviously taken by road, it is now at the Old Dalby test centre.
