Notes : Officially stored on the 16th February 2004 at Temple Mills, it left East London by road on the 11th March, en-route to Eastleigh TMD.
Following a decision to put 08890 up for sale, sometime after xmas 2008, it was purchased from EWS to CF Booth's.
On the 23rd February 2009, it was moved out of the depot area, to the sidings adjacent to Eastleigh station. This was to await forwarding to the nearby yard, so it can be loaded onto road transport. On the 6th March, 08890 was removed from Eastleigh Yard and taken north to Rotherham, via a weekend stop-over at Allely's yard. It completed its move to Booth's, arriving in Yorkshire on the 11th or 12th March.
Update: On the 11th July 2009, 08890's demise finally came, succumbing to the cutters torch at Booth's.
