Leaving Etches Park on the 22nd July 2004, the Midland Mainline turquoise liveried 08, departed Derby by road, being deposited at Wabtec for repairs. On the 29th October and after completion, 08899 was returned to Derby, arriving in the East Midlands, shortly after.
Currently operates as one of the Derby Etches Park T&RSMD pilots.
