Notes : At Margam TMD, on the 5th February 2004, 08900 was put into store. By the 23rd though, it was reinstated back into traffic. It's stint in the active pool didn't last very long, because on the 27th, it was put back into store again, still at Margam. By the 8th March, 08900 was moved the short distance to Port Talbot for removal by road. With the move cancelled shortly afterwards, the 08 was returned to the TMD. The 29th April though, it was once again reinstated to use and the WSAW pool.
After been made available for sale by EWS, 08900 was purchased by TJ Thomson's towards the end of December 2008.
On the 22nd January 2009, 08900 left Margam by road, en-route to Stockton. After spending exactly a week at Goodman's Yard, it was forwarded north to its new owners on the 29th January, where it currently resides.
Update: Unlucky for some and definately for 08900, it finally succumbed to the cutters torch at Thomson's, on Friday 13th February 2009.
