Notes : On the 5th February 2004 at Thornaby TMD, 08911 was stored WSXX. The 15th May, saw it loaded and taken by road to York, being deposited at the National Railway Museum, shortly after. On the 26th, it was purchased by the NRM, being transferred into the MBDL private owner pool. During this time, it was used to shunt the exhibits around the complex, due to it still being NR registered. Towards the end of October, an extensive overhaul was started on 08911. On completion, it was outshopped in NRM blue, superceeding its previous livery of Departmental grey.
Sometime during early 2007, 08911 received the Matey nameplate at York.
08911 currently resides at the National Railway Museum, York.
