Officially stored on the 16th February 2004 at Didcot Yard.
Withdrawn in November 2005 at Motherwell TMD, 08913 left Scotland, being deposited at the LH Group on the 20th March 2007 for repairs and attention. With all necessary work complete, by the 30th April, it left Barton under Needwood and was unloaded at Trafford Park, where it operated in and around the Kelloggs complex.
Sometime during the 2nd week of May 2009, 08913 left the Kelloggs site by road, en-route to the Cleveland Potash works at Boulby. With repairs and a possible overhaul required, 08913 was removed by road, early morning on the 30th October. Taken south to Barton under Needwood, it was deposited at the LH Group mid afternoon.
Update: During its time under repair, a new unknown livery was applied, in readiness for its hire contract to ??. On the 11th December, the 08 left the LH Group for Daventry, being unloaded at the International Railfreight Terminal, shortly after.
