Name : Howie / Margaret * unofficial * ( both names are carried on either side of the loco )
Notes : Withdrawn in March 2004 at Old Oak Common T&RSMD.
Whilst at Westbury, it was stored on the 20th March 2004, languishing in the yard for 3 years.
It was then transferred on the 13th April 2007, to the Foster Yeoman / Mendip Rail depot at Merehead for further storage.
On the 20th March 2008, 08947 was tripped the short distance to Whatley Quarry to cover for 08652, which had gone away for repairs.
On the 29th January 2009, 08947 suffered considerable damage to its cab, when 59104 managed to collide with it at Whatley depot. Sometime during early February, 08947 was transferred to Foster Yeoman at Merehead for repairs to its cab damage.
