No confirmned gen as yet Mart, but i would imagine it was heading for Manchester for the Metrolink extension project.

I saw it on the M61 J6 heading north at 18.45pm today which is the junction for the Reebok stadium nr Horwich.
Obviously this is north of Manc so perhaps a different location?

Was reported at M6 J42 (Carlisle) this morning. Also an unconfirmed suggestion on Scotrail gen that a shunter may have been delivered to Mossend today. Hmm...

Nice one-haven't seen 605 since 2005 and a bit closer to home now 
Surely we should try to organise a Group visit seeing that it is the Mecca for shunters or is it a total no-no nowadays 
If so,will quite happily make enquiries-my suggestion is 12/09/09- I'm in Donny for the weekend as anticipating a walk around Neville Hill on the Sunday,assuming the Community Day is still on-Martin
