Notes : Whilst at Doncaster Wabtec, 09021 was put into store on the 5th February 2004.
Previously at Doncaster Carr, was taken by road to Immingham towards the end of November 2006. As a result of track lifting at Immingham TMD, 09021 was left isolated on a short section of track, minus its centre wheels, buffers and both sets of cranks.
On the 20th May 2008, 09021 was sold to CF Booth's at Rotherham, with the initial un-named buyer, pulling out of the deal. It left Immingham by road, and transported to Booth's on the 24 July 2008 for disposal. Having only spent two days at the scrap yard, 09021 was cut up on the 26th July.
The scrapping of 09021, gives the loco some celebrity status, as it was the first of its class to be disposed of.
