On the 13th January 2004 and whilst at Doncaster Carr undergoing repairs / attention, 09204 was fitted with the TPWS equipment. After being released from Doncaster and repairs, 09204 made its way north to Tyne Yard, where, on the 16th Febuary 2004, it was officially put into store.
Despite it being stored, it can currently be found operating in Tyne Yard.
