Goole Docks 12.5.07Just a quickie update.08428 was the only shunter present on saturday. If 09106 was there, it certainly wasn't visible. |

Certainly can young man.
If you're going at the weekend, cross the main road after coming out of the station into Mariners Street and continue along this road until you come to a set of traffic lights. The shunter should be parked on your right. Last time i was there, photo oppotunities were excellent. http://maps.live.com/default.aspx...0viewing%20point___&encType=1 I hope the link works for you. The 2nd point on the map is where it should be on the weekend. If it isn't there, try the 3rd viewing point. I've only ever been on a saturday, so i don't really know where to find it during the week. If its been moving about, it doesn't tend to go very far as the area isn't really that big, so with a pair of bino's, you should be ok. Good luck. 
If your coming from the Doncaster area, it might be visible as you're approaching the station, with the sidings on your right. Might save you a 15 mins walk. Unless you need a photo of course.
