Hardendale Sidings.Good Morning,
On Sunday I was returning to Glasgow from a week in Wales (Aberystwyth) and there was something sitting in Hardendale cement works. As I was on 1S45 i was uncertain whether it was a single wagon or an industrial shunter.
Any help would be appreciated.
Best Wishes
Jonathan

There are no mainline shunters at Hardendale anymore Jon, but i would imagine it would've been one of these you might have seen,

I think you'll find a second shunter of the same type hiding behind the wagon behind 272 in the first photo, I suspect its 278. Passed Hardendale at speed yesterday, looked like 272 was still at the M6 end, seemed to be a ghostly dirty white colour. By the way was there easy access for taking those photographs?

Sorry folks, no idea where the adverts in my last post came from .... I didn't put them there .... apologies if .... they've gone and this looks like the ramblings of a mad person ..... OR .... there is more rubbish with this post.

No need to worry, as the adverts always appear on the last post automatically.
