is 08485 stored on kingmoor, the was a BR blue 08 at the blocks at the north end of the yard, 08922 was shunting in the yard. has anyone got a confirmed sighting of 08605 at mossend? thanks

08485 isn't officially stored, but i don't think it sees much use. With there only being the two 08's at Kingmoor, then 485 would've been the one against the blocks.
08605 however, can be difficult to spot. As far as i'm aware, it is still at Mossend, but i haven't had a positive sighting for a while now. Public vantage points for the yard are pretty poor anyway, so getting a sighting for it, could be pretty slim. Unless you're lucky, seeing it from a passing train could prove fruitless aswell.

thanks, i wasn't sure but i thought the one on mossend had a 6 and a 5 in the number. 08924 is looking in a sorry sight at motherwell depot.

Kingmoor and Mossend
Last Week, 06805 was still sitting in Mossend Yard. Sometimes It can be sitting in the Electric Holding sidings, other times the Down yard is the place to see it. The Best way to see it is to go for a ride on the Cumbernauld Motherwell Trip. I would say photography would be very difficult.
