Interesting to see at Springs Branch, that you haven't mentioned the two other shunters, 08877 & 08921. Presumingly then, they are still both inside

Went by southbound at speed-lot of engineering wagons etc scattered around-if outside,weren't visible from the train when we passed-Martin

As far as i know, only 08662 is outside, as seen on Martin's sightings. 08877 is the depot pilot, and 08921 is inside, having its RC equipment removed.

i went past last friday and there was two shunters outside so i guess they must of removed the equipment but i could be wrong

Spot on Dave. 08921 entered the shed on the 23rd July, and 08495 has already had RC fitted at Toton. I should've really looked at 08921's notes before my original post
