Remote Control Gronk Sweepstake....Which Gronk will return to Tidal first......
Will it be 08466 or 08951 at Toytown or 08752 at Margam?
...and the prize, carrying out a C xam on a Gronk without a pit including brake block change under the watchful eye of the HSE.

As far as i know, it has already been fitted with RC, donated from 08854. I would imagine that it'll be leaving Toton in the next few weeks, so my money's on that.
As for the prize, can i have some Mumbles rock instead, but its gotta come from the green apple

There was talk of EWS later DB(S) using the former 'wagon shop' at Tremorfa for maintenance purposes, but IIRC this doesn't have a pit ?
.
Personally, even with a pit I wouldn't want to drop the blocks and replace them - even less so in the open air !

There is a new manager at Tidal who seems to want to get matters sorted and a meeting did take place fairly recently with a pit in the wagon shop being discussed. At the moment blocks and C xam's are being done at Canton as in theory Margam has closed. It was also being muted to do other repair work in the wagon shop as well. The new manager was originally promised 08752 on 1st August, then 8th August, but who knows when, as it can only be manned on an overtime basis and Margam are short of fitters due to holidays. While all this not happening the Director of Human Resources sent a letter to all staff asking them if they'd like to take a weeks unpaid leave. I don't think those in their ivory towers understand what's happening on the ground.
I'm still hoping that 08752 will be finished before 08466 and 08951. A few electrical and air problems during the run up of 08752during the week.

Not Yet. Still at Toton this afternoon, but i failed to see it. Was definately there though.

That was a quick transfer as I saw it in the Shunter Bay at Margam Depot on saturday afternoon.
