DMShell suggested "The good 'uns will move for storage and the others being broken for spares/scrap".
Presumably 07001 will move on even if only to Barrow Hill, but what's the condition of 01552?

With 07001 only on loan from HNRC, as you said, that'll move on to Barrow Hill.
As for the condition of 01552, and the others for that matter, i was under the impression that they were all out of use. Recent and latter sightings suggest that they were all in a line, all stored.
My knowledge for the ind shunters isn't that great, so i'll hand over the reins for somebody that knows what they're talking about.

I understand that 01552 (TOPS Pool MBDL) is/was a HNRC loco and is/was on hire from HNRC to Creative Logistics. Can anyone clarify the current ownership please?
By way of background, 01552 was sold to Harry Needle in 1995 who rebuilt it and subsequently hired it to Creative Logistics, Salford.

when i went passed Sunday the shunters were in one line next to the carpark not inbetween the buildings and 01552 looked in quite a rusty state

Anyone confirm where 07001 and 01552 have gone please? Both left on the 20th. Presume Barrow Hill or Long Marston?

Further info received is that one went to Shackerstone, the other to Langley Mill (for Long Marston in due course). Don't know which went where though

Oh well, my turn to receive duff info, 07001 has arrived at Barrow Hill. 
01552 still unknown.
