Cardiff Canton 08499
Celsa works 08782

Re: South WalesTa for that Tel. Few things - Given the lack of sightings from the storage sidings at Margam, can i presume you didn't manage to get round the depot ?
09025 - I'm beginning to think that it is still at the East Kent Railway, not Swindon as first thought. Did they let you have a wonder around the shed ?
09017 - Whereabouts was it stabled, for you not to be able to photograph it ?
Which brings me on to the most important question - The piccies, will you be sending them on

If 09017 wasn't working it would have been stabled at the office block, which generally has its gates locked at the weekend.

Yes the shed is open to look round all the time

Presumably at Tidal sidings

Still worth a trip down to the offices on a weekend as there is a road that runs adjacent to the DBS car park to a trading estate(left before the road up to the DBS office block).
From this road can normally see whats stabled but not great for photos-attached pic of 08466 bears testament to this as taken from this road

Not so bad if stabled a bit further from the offices(08752/951)

08752/951 from DBS car park(different day when gates were open)

Can also get restricted views by going under the rly, turning left and going to the rear of several sets of flats, which have their car parking areas adjacent to the line-in Steves location report this is now what has become of the'building site'.

Went down that way to avoid the 90,000 other people trying to get out of Cardiff after the U2 concert.
That road through the dock area,a B road past Wentloog to Newport and the A48 through Newport Docks round the back of Newport got me on the M4 at the Celtic Manor junction 35 mins after getting into the car in Cardiff.
