08493 has left Doncaster Wabtec by road to CF Booth's in Rotherham for Disposal.
08529 and 08819 have been moved from the West Yard sidings into Wabtec for removal by road, also to Booth's. Both shunters should be in Rotherham by the end of the week.

which is unfortunate for me, as every time I went to see 08819 at Donny over the past x amount of years, it was never around, then I look on LS and it was seen and photoed a week later!

I'm glad i'm not on my own then. Everytime i visited Doncaster, it was hidden by track machines or wagons. The last time i went, the yard was empty. Yeah, i thought. Got a chance of seeing it. Of course, by then, it had been moved into Wabtec. Typical.

In fact, all the Wabtec shunters are eluding me. I usually visit Doncaster on a saturday, but the last 3 times, i've been during the week, and it's always the same shunter ( 669 ) that's always moving about. I think there's at least 3 active, but do you think i get to see em. Do i buggery !!

Update: Both 08529 and 08819 have left Wabtec by road and deposited at Booth's, Rotherham. The relevant sections have now been updated.

same here, I don't like having to pay to get round a scrappie, when there aren't many things I wnat there, plus hard hat and all,

08762 was the Wabtec Yard shunter last weekend. 08819 & 08529 were easily visible in the West Yard on Friday evening!
