Have you parked it somewhere where it can be seen -I'm having a look across the fields on Friday as haven't seen it since 2004-Martin _________________ Why do farmers put gates at the muddiest part of the field ?
yeah should be under the silo platforms or in the loop
Saturday 4th July 7.30pm it was there. Unusually the farmer had locked both gates leading into the fields and with tall nettles growing upto the gate posts you can't walk round the gates.
Remembering the Country Code I started climbing at the hinge end of the gate, but didn't need to climb over. With my feet on the just the second bar I could clearly read 08613 in white on the black cab side. RMS liveried 08870 was also there.
Sorry about the colours, but as I posted elsewhere, I had an operation on my eyes recently. I can now see further than before (driving down the A1 I removed my driving glasses as I can see further without them), but dark colours are causing problems. Dark Blue and black currently appear similar. My wife wondered why I was wearing a grey pullover with dark green trousers whilst to my eyes they matched. I can definitely diferentiate though between red, yellow & green.
Back on Track, from that gate I could only see the two locos I mentioned, not the EWS liveried 888.
