A trip out, courtesy of Mrs ZHR's car, brought me here to see

storage area

        (S10151 assumed) 0-6-0DH scrubbed grey/red colours
08077 (     /1955)            0-6-0DE Freighliner c/s (minus engine and radiator)
5        (AB614/1977)        0-6-0DH blue THPA c/s

main area

D3991 (    /1960)              0-6-0DE old green BR c/s 08823 marks not carried
08730 (     /1960)              0-6-0DE 'The Caley' grey/black c/s
08873 (     /1960)              0-6-0DE  old RES c/s
08891 (      /1961)             0-6-0DE FL c/s
AD601 (     /1945)              0-6-0DE black c/s, number of buffer bream
(HE6662/1966 assumed)   0-6-0DH dark green c/s no marks and nameplate removed

Travelodge end

DR77322 ZWY a Balfour Beatty track machine was in the end bay.

Further along in another bay was a yellow vehicle which looked like a LT battery loco but was probably a further track machine.

Stored outside was the 2 foot gauge

          (HE9351/1994) 4wh DH

Any sign of 08785 and 08913 which I understand are both at LH Group?

Definately not outised, but the shutters were down at the main area so probably inside. There were a few people working but seemed to be primarily building maintenance people.

There was a radiator in FL c/s by the footpath which tends to suggest something being worked on. It wwasn't from 08077 as that was standing next to the loco in the storage yard

I visited LH Group last Thursday (19/11) as per thread in "Queries, Unidentified 08" and 08913 was inside the shed at that time as the shutter doors were open and the 08 had it's bonnet doors open showing a clear EWS livery as you looked in.

Stripped down 08785 "was" outside in the main area against the fence by the footpath on my visit. Obvioulsy it isn't now. Assuming there is enough room, is 785 now also inside getting rebuilt?......

News from LH Group is that 08873 has departed back on hire to Freightliner, unknown where though  Confused

Also 08913 is receiving a repaint into a Hunslet livery for a new hire contract, one of two to be done.  Guess 08823 will be the other.

I meant to post this a few days ago but forgot.
I'm assuming its still part of LH Group but right down at the south end of that "industrial" estate away from where you can normally see all the shunters, I saw an 08/09 in a shed running parallel to the main line.
I'm only posting as I've never seen one down there before and thought it might help find a "lost" one ?

I'm not familiar with the site layout but info received is that LH Group are now using an extra building so may well be related to this?
