Did any one see 01508 at Eastleigh Works this weekend? Any news of its current location would be helpful.

I'm led to believe it is still at Eastleigh works, currently out of use. Whereabouts it is situated in the works though, i don't know.
Was there any parts which were out of bounds Norm ? |

Steve, I regret I did not visit the Works this weekend, but I cannot find any reports/photos for this loco relating to Eastleigh 100. Was it used for spares when the other three were reconditioned?

Nor me. With all the sightings, photos etc from the 3 days, i too can't find any info at all.
Doing a bit of searching though, it looks like it was overhauled sometime during 2007, so it should now be operational. It's still owned by Knights Rail, so i'm presuming it is still at Eastleigh. |

I understand that 01508 was at Eastleigh Works during the "Eastleigh 100" event, but was locked in a building.

Post by Bruce Knight on wnxx forum that 01508 was started this week and is to be returned to action as a second pilot at Eastleigh Works.
